Business Analyst

The business analyst is responsible for ensuring business units receive the information and technology assistance necessary to accomplish their goals and objectives. This position diagnoses and resolves technical problems and assists with ongoing system requirements, solution specification, user testing and procedures of the bank's automated loan origination system.

Loan Risk Review/Credit Analyst

(Brooklyn, N.Y.)

The loan risk review/credit analyst assists the chief credit officer and the risk management head, monitoring and managing credit risk within the bank’s lending activities. Duties include providing an objective assessment of loans in order to identify potential problems and ensuring compliance with established loan policies and federal regulations.

Residential Mortgage Loan Officer

(Queens and Brooklyn, N.Y.)

The residential mortgage loan officer solicits and manages new residential loan business and maintains customer relationships. The incumbent responds to customer inquiries, ensuring customers are informed of all mortgage products offered by the bank. The mortgage loan officer also develops business partner banking relationship through marketing, cold-calling, prospecting and networking activities.

CDBA member Virginia Community Capital seeks a chief risk officer focusing heavily on credit risk and administration. This position reports directly to the CEO and will help lead the organization through analysis of potential risk areas while working with other managers to manage risk. The chief risk officer is responsible for the enterprise-wide oversight of risk. Credit review, portfolio analysis and outsourced internal audits are also managed through this position. 

 

CDBA Member Carver Federal Savings Bank seeks an AVP/commercial lender to organize quality and profitable commercial business loans. This position is responsible for developing new-to-bank business relationships and achieving lending goals by actively leveraging a book of business relations and building partnerships with the retail bank team. The incumbent will also execute loan transactions, including preparing credit proposals, monitoring compliance issues and managing loan closings.

CDBA member City First Bank of D.C. is currently seeking an information system manager responsible for the managing the bank’s information systems and related functions to ensure the availability, continuity, compliance, accuracy and security of data and information technology services. This position will work under the direction of the chief financial officer/chief information security officer.

CDBA Member City First Bank is currently seeking a chief credit officer responsible for oversight and management of the underwriting, special asset and credit administration functions of the bank. This position is responsible for establishing written loan and credit policies which meet regulatory safety and soundness standards for board approval.

CDBA member BankPlus seeks a legal department manager to train, counsel and evaluate department employees. The incumbent will lead meetings and render administrative assistance to the bank's general and legal counsel. The department manager prepares legal correspondence, processes subpoenas, ensures the log of all legal actions are accurate and ensures legal counsel is briefed on information needing review and disposition.

CDFI Bank Spring Bank seeks a commercial loan closer. This position's primary function is to create complete loan packages and to ensure compliance with the bank's credit policy and SBA lending requirements. In order to carry out this function, the incumbent is expected to carry out due diligence, prepare legal files, facilitate the booking of the transaction and act as liaison between various departments.

OneUnited Bank seeks a legal associate to work with senior counsel and business units on various legal issues regarding customers, policies, employment and other legal issues. This position prepares agreements, documents and pleadings relating to litigation and non-litigation matters and engages in contract management to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, banking regulations and bank policies.

The senior advisor provides information, advice and analysis to the CDFI Fund Director. This position is responsible for assessing the political and institutional environment in which decisions are made and crafting recommendations concerning CDFI strategy. The senior advisor also represents the CDFI Fund in meetings with other senior Treasury representatives and within the US interagency.

CDBA member Native American Bank seeks a loan operations specialist responsible for processing all commercial, agricultural, consumer and construction loan requests, modifications, extensions and renewals. This position books new loans, processes payments and coordinates loan closing while ensuring all necessary documents have been collected and reviewed.
