CDFI Banking: Industry, Policy, and Beyond.
The Native CDFI Network seeks an executive director responsible for the overall success of the organization in its service to members. The executive director represents the organization to public- and private-sector funders, partners and allies. This role also prepares and manages the operating plan and budget consistent with the strategic plan approved by a volunteer board of directors selected by members.
The Treasury Department seeks a new CDFI Fund Director. This position must effectively manage people, resources, risks and changing or conflicting priorities in order to accomplish the CDFI Fund's mission. Major responsibilities include: reviewing current operations, recommending program options, promoting community development lending activities on behalf of Treasury, and managing the day-to-day and long term operations of the CDFI Fund. This includes directing studies related to the community lending, evaluating legislative proposals affecting CDFI programs, responding to a wide-range of complex inquiries and supervising the work of the staff.
The director, government relations serves as Opportunity Finance Network’s liaison to federal policy makers, representing the organization’s positions on issues impacting CDFIs. The director represents Opportunity Finance Network with national policy coalitions and other ally organizations and cooperates as part of the Public Policy team to implement policy communications with members.
CDBA seeks a part time marketing intern to assist CDBA staff in improving our marketing strategy and conducting market research. This position will implement market research projects, design a marketing strategy for CDBA’s new webinar initiative and generate online and social media content. The marketing intern will also assist in writing the CDBA Newsflash.
CDFI loan fund Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) is seeking a full-time director of underwriting to join its financial services team. The director of underwriting plays a central role in the growth and expansion of NFF’s financing business. This position will lead a team of underwriters while managing due diligence and underwriting processes for all financial products including loans, NMTC and Pay for Success financing.
CDBA member Urban Partnership Bank seeks a senior compliance specialist to perform monitoring functions related to regulatory consumer protection, CRA guidelines and fair lending regulations. This position ensures ongoing compliance with established policies, procedures and government regulations. The compliance specialist also performs testing to evaluate the performance of the bank's various operating units.
CDBA member Bank2 seeks a junior commercial loan officer. This position originates, underwrites and closes secured and unsecured commercial, real estate and consumer loans in accordance with established lending objectives and policies and procedures. The loan officer is also responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relations.
CDBA Member Broadway Federal Bank seeks a senior financial analyst to assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. The financial analyst prepares and distributes financial projections, annual budgets and financial analyses, including call reports, and all other regulatory filings. This position also assists the controller to design and manage the annual budget plan and prepares internal financial packages.
